Where My Publishing Journey Began
The Big Picture holds an incredibly nostalgic and significant place in my portfolio because it was one of the very first book series I ever illustrated.

Natural History Museum
The Big Picture series directly inspired a spin-off book Big Planet for the Natural History Museum, UK. Establishing my commitment to creating versatile, highly commercial illustration styles that can seamlessly adapt to co-branded institutional projects and prestigious museum publishing lines.

Collaborating closely with award-winning author Jon Richards, my role as the sole illustrator was to transform nature data, environmental science, and geographical statistics into, digestible visual panoramas to blend vibrant storytelling with the precise requirements of infographic panels and educational bite-sized facts.

About the Series
Aimed at curious explorers aged 9 to 11 (ideal for late Key Stage 2 readers), The Big Picture series is designed to reveal the macro-stories behind our planet's greatest natural phenomena. Using massive panoramic spreads and clever data visualisation panels, the books break down extreme ecosystems and map the incredible survival strategies of the creatures that inhabit them.
